My Recent Five Faves

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been reflecting on whether or not “My Five Faves of the Week” had a place on my blog. Sometimes I would feel rushed at the end of the week to get a post up, and I have other content (fashion, beauty, food, etc.) that I am excited to write but gets sidetracked each week by the Five Faves. SO – I have decided to revamp the section and make it simply “My Recent Five Faves.” It will be up whenever I have five things I’m dying to show you all, so not necessarily every week, but often! I hope you like these little changes and keep reading.

I feel very late to the game, but recently I’ve been completely obsessed with the 1975! I have always heard people talk about how amazing this band is, but never quite got into them until now. I love their upbeat sounds and funky, interesting lyrics. Anyone planning on seeing them at Coachella?

Winter weather totally dries out my skin and that includes my lips. Luckily, Ipsy recently sent me this sugar lip scrub from Skinn. It exfoliates the dry, dead skin and leaves my lips feeling smooth and refreshed. Perfect for showing off a bold red or black lip.

Remember when I trademarked the term “Harry boots” and needed some in my life ASAP? Well I found them! These beauties are from Call It Spring and are currently on sale. They look so rad with black skinny jeans, an ensemble I’ve been sporting for literally the last five days straight.

I’m weirdly picky about my perfumes; I don’t like anything too “perfumey” (is that a thing?) and prefer fragrances that smell bright – floral or citrusy. I picked up this bottle from Urban Outfitters the other day and am in love with the sweet scent of rose macarons. I mean, it’s one of my fave foods so why not smell like it?

As my blue hair is fading to purple and now falls well past my shoulders, I’m craving a change in style. The super choppy long bob like JLaw’s keeps catching my eye. I haven’t gone short in a while, so it would be a big change for me! What do you think – yay or nay? Let me know in the comments!
